After thew shoot :I would love to interview the girls who act in the film.
So we hear them to telling about their lives, and giving the inspiring / hopeful message throughout the film / song.
So I see we would cut in some poetic moments of their voices throughout the video to the song, and then mix and reverb and implement these voices to the actual song with distortions etc… after our editing is finished.
So that this music video becomes like a fictionalized documentary about the girls, their lives, their attitude; their speaking voices would also be part of the song (atleast in the music video song mix). The girls have really cool voices actually, they speak English w/ a beautiful subtle mix of Somali/Finnish accent.
COUT OUT FROM THE TREATMENT
I don’t want this film to be just a shallow modest fashion film. After the prologue of the film we can even have a red text appear to the screen saying:
“ATTENTION: This is not a fashion film.”
To highlight the fact we are not just stealing another culture for commerciual purposes – like sow many fashion brands are doing right now.
